Birthday baby....

The highs and lows of mummyhood have been all too apparent this week as Honey and I have gone from fairy tea party's to fever and sickness all in the space of 24 hours. We had a great time throwing the 1st birthday party of the year on a hot and sticky Friday afternoon just gone, with oceans of champagne, for the mummies, followed by buttery homemade leek & gruyere quiches and sickly sweet fairy cakes, then went to watch daddy play rugby against at Twickenham yesterday, only for Honey to fall ill. Poor little bug. A good night sleep (thankfully!) seems to have done the trick though as she seems a little better today. Probably all the excitement of the new giant plastic toys she was given at her tea party.
